SHRM Hawaii is proud to be the first SHRM affiliate in the nation to offer the AI+HI Specialty Credential through a local cohort experience, giving Hawaiʻi HR professionals the opportunity to learn, collaborate, and earn this new credential together.
Whether you're just beginning your AI journey or looking to confidently bring AI into your organization, this hands-on program will help you build the knowledge, skills, and practical strategies to lead with confidence.

- 💻 Interactive Online Lab 2: Saturday, November 7, 2026 (4.5 hours, time TBA)
- 🎓 Hybrid Capstone Experience: Saturday, November 21, 2026 (4.5 hours)

Meet Your Course Facilitator!
Stephen Hong, SPHR, Director of Human Resources, Travel + Leisure Co.
Stephen is an accomplished HR leader with over two decades of experience driving people strategies across a wide range of industries, including hospitality, retail, and technology. He currently serves as Director of Human Resources at Travel + Leisure Co., the world’s leading membership and vacation ownership company, and volunteers on the Workforce Development Committee for SHRM Hawaii.
Stephen’s passion for AI in HR was sparked at the SHRM Hawaii Annual Conference several years ago, where he first explored the potential of artificial intelligence to transform the workforce. Since then, he has become a vocal advocate for HR to lead the way in AI adoption - enhancing associate engagement, streamlining HR operations, and ensuring that organizational AI decisions are made responsibly and with a people-centered approach.

- Guest Registration: $2,000 (As low as $1,000 with ETF assistance)

No refunds for cancellations or no-shows. Substitutions at the same registration level are welcome up to the day before the event.

Webinar recordings are not guaranteed; when available and approved by the speaker, recordings and materials will be shared after the event. Most events offer SHRM and HRCI credits, with PDC details provided in the post-event survey. We encourage you to download or record your credit details right away to ensure accurate tracking for your recertification.
