It is that time of year again! As a Director of Torkildson, Katz, Hetherington, Harris & Knorek, a current Chamber of Commerce Hawaii Board Member and a long-time member of the SHRM Hawaii Educational Foundation (Oahu) Programs Committee, I would like to encourage you to register for this year’s virtual Chamber of Commerce Hawaii’s 28th Annual Employment Law Seminar to be held on Friday, August 27, 2021. You do not want to miss out on this all-day seminar that will be jam-packed with engaging and up-to-date information for employers. Panels will discuss the most recent employment law developments including what the “new normal” will look like and staying in compliance with the laws under the new administration. As part of your registration fee, you will also receive our Chamber Desk Manual, and you will be eligible to receive Professional Development Credits for SHRM-CP® or SHRM-SCP.® Although the State has been reopening and tourism has been rebounding, the Chamber recognizes that some employers are still facing difficult times during this pandemic and are offering again this year a low Chamber/SHRM registration fee of $200.00 through August 20, 2021, and $210 from August 21-27, 2021 (additional charges for mailing of desk manual).
